How to crop a PDF

  1. Step 1: Select or drop your PDF.

  2. Step 2: Draw a crop area on the page preview.

  3. Step 3: Choose whether to crop every page or only this one.

  4. Step 4: Click Crop PDF and download the result.

Focus on the content

Wide white margins waste screen space on phones and e-readers, and scans often include dark edges or parts of the next page. Cropping makes the content fill the view and print more cleanly.

Apply one crop to the whole document for consistent pages, or crop a single page that needs special treatment.

How does cropping work?

We set the crop box of each affected page to the area you drew. Viewers and printers display only that area, and the page content itself is not re-rendered, so the operation is lossless.

Content outside the crop area is hidden, not deleted: it remains in the file and can be restored with PDF editing software. To remove sensitive content for good, use Redact PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Can I crop pages differently?

Each run applies one crop area, either to every page or to the page you drew on. To crop another page differently, run the tool again on the result.

Is the cropped content deleted?

No. It's hidden from view but still in the file. If you need to remove information permanently, use Redact PDF.

Does cropping reduce quality?

No. Only the visible area of the page changes; text and images are left exactly as they were.

What happens to my file after cropping?

The upload is deleted right after processing. The cropped PDF is available for 30 minutes and then deleted automatically, or you can delete it immediately.
