How to rotate a PDF

  1. Step 1: Select or drop your PDF.

  2. Step 2: Choose the rotation angle.

  3. Step 3: Optionally click the pages to rotate — leave it empty for all pages.

  4. Step 4: Click Rotate PDF and download the result.

No more tilting your head

Scanned documents and phone photos often end up sideways or upside down. Rotating them once means everyone who opens the file sees the pages the right way up.

You can fix a single landscape table inside a portrait report, or turn an entire document in one step.

How does rotating a PDF work?

Every PDF page has a rotation setting that tells viewers how to display it. We update that setting for the pages you choose instead of redrawing their content.

Because nothing is re-rendered, rotation is completely lossless: text stays searchable and images keep their original resolution.

Frequently asked questions

Can I rotate only some pages?

Yes. Click the thumbnails you want to turn or type their numbers, such as 2, 4-6. Leave the field empty to rotate every page.

How do I rotate counter-clockwise?

Choose 270°. That is the same as turning the page 90° counter-clockwise.

Does rotating reduce quality?

No. Only the page's display orientation changes; the content itself is not modified or recompressed.

Is it safe to rotate confidential files?

Files travel over HTTPS, the upload is deleted right after processing, and the rotated PDF is removed once its 30-minute download link expires. No account is ever required.
