PNG uses lossless compression, so there are no blurry artifacts around letters or thin lines. That makes it the right format for documentation, charts, technical drawings and screenshots.
Use the images in wikis, design tools, slide decks or anywhere a PDF can't be embedded.
Our server renders every page at 96, 150 or 300 DPI, depending on your choice, and saves it as a PNG without lossy compression. Expect larger files than JPG, especially at print resolution.
A single-page PDF becomes one PNG, while multi-page documents arrive as a ZIP archive. There is a cap on how many pages are rendered from one file.
PNG keeps every pixel exactly, while JPG discards some detail to save space. If file size matters more than perfect sharpness, try PDF to JPG.
Choose Print (300 DPI). For viewing on screen, High (150 DPI) is usually plenty.
Every page is converted. To get specific pages, first use Extract pages to create a smaller PDF, then convert that.
Uploads are sent over HTTPS and removed straight after rendering. The PNG files are kept only for the 30-minute download window.
